FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT o Ensure management and preparation of financial statements and reports, as per regulatory and legal requirements. o Report on overall performance of the respective area of responsibility and advice shareholders on all financial matters. o Manage the production of operational and risk reports for MD consolidation and analysis. o Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting and collection procedures and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems; budgets and other financial management functions. o Coordinates closely with auditors, government bodies, banks and other stakeholders. o Set up internal control and accounting procedures for all branches to ensure proper consolidation. o Manage the budgeting process and investigate variances with financial and operational standards. o Evaluate data pertaining to costs in order to plan budgets. o Manage the finance department to ensure proper record keeping and sound financial position. o Prepare forms and manuals, in conjunction with all stakeholders, for finance personnel and manage their work activities. o Survey operations, to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend; develop and maintain solutions to business and financial problems. o Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities. o Conduct regional internal audits. o Approve or reject, or coordinate the approval and rejection of lines of credit. o Manage all foreign exchange transactions in conjunction with Group Policy. o Oversee the flow of cash and financial instruments. o Staff recruitment and training o Responsible for all HR related matters. o Plan; manage and coordinate the activities of financial department workers in branches.
